Lebanese film Stray Bullet has won first prize at the Dubai International Film Festival.
The movie, set in Lebanon's 1975-1990 civil war, is about a young woman forced to choose between her family and her fiance.
Director Georges Hachem received the gold Muhr award from French actress Isabelle Huppert.
Jordanian director Mohammed al-Hushki's film, Transit Cities, won the special jury prize.
